PENGUIN TUNES: "There's a nice Chicago connection to the acclaimed new documentary, "March of the Penguins," and his name is Alex Wurman, the composer whose soundtrack is such a key element in the film. Aside from Oscar winner Morgan Freeman's narration, the Warner Independent's National Geographic film depends heavily on Wurman's beautiful score. "There are no actors or dialogue, so the film rides on a marriage of Alex's music with the film images," says Adam Leipzig, president of National Geographic Feature Films.
		Chicago native Wurman attended both the Chicago Academy for the Arts and the American Conservatory of Music here, before heading to Hollywood, where he started his film career... Milan Records has just released the emotional soundtrack for "The March of the Penguins" -- clearly an early contender for the best feature documentary Oscar next year.
